Air Cambodia assists passengers who lose personal belongings during travel. Lost
items may occur on board the aircraft, at airport facilities, or in connection
with checked baggage. Passengers should report missing items promptly to
initiate the recovery process.
Reporting Lost Items
Passengers must report lost items
upon arrival at the destination or as soon as they notice the loss. Reports
should include flight details, travel date, and a detailed description of the
missing item to support the identification and recovery process.
Checked Baggage Delay, Loss, or Damage
If checked baggage is
delayed, lost, or damaged, passengers should report the issue at the airline’s
baggage counter or Lost & Found desk at the airport. Air Cambodia staff will
record a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) with a reference number, which is
required for tracking baggage status and for any subsequent claims. The PIR form
should be kept until the issue is resolved.
Baggage
Irregularities Reporting Time Limits
For delayed or lost checked
baggage, complaints must be submitted in writing within 21 days from the date
the baggage should have been delivered. For damaged baggage, complaints must be
made in writing within 7 days from the date of receipt.
Item
Collection and Delivery
Once lost items are located, Air
Cambodia will notify the passenger and arrange delivery to the address provided,
subject to applicable customs regulations. Alternatively, passengers may collect
recovered baggage at the airport.
