Air India Express provides assistance for passengers who have lost or misplaced personal belongings during travel. Items may be left on board aircraft, within airport terminals, or at airline service counters. Reports can be submitted through airline customer service or the airport’s lost property office.

Items Left on Board the Aircraft

Passengers must report items left on board through official airline channels. Required details include flight number, travel date, seat number, and a description of the item.

Items Lost at the Airport

Items lost within airport premises are handled by the airport’s lost property office, including areas such as security checkpoints, boarding gates, lounges, and baggage claim.

Baggage-Related Lost Property

Passengers must report missing checked baggage at the airline’s baggage service counter in the arrivals area. A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) is created to initiate the tracing process.

Reporting a Lost Item

Passengers must provide:

• Passenger name and contact information
• Flight number and travel date
• Departure and arrival airports
• Detailed description of the item
• Seat number if applicable

Recovery and Collection

Passengers are contacted if items are located. Identification is required for collection or delivery arrangements.

Passenger Advice

Passengers must check seat areas, overhead compartments, and surrounding spaces before leaving the aircraft. Personal belongings must remain under passenger supervision throughout the journey.
