Air Mauritius passengers can check in through the airline’s online platform, airport self-service kiosks, or staffed check-in counters. These options allow travelers to receive boarding passes and complete the necessary pre-flight formalities before continuing to security checks and departure gate procedures.

Online / Mobile Check-in

Air Mauritius provides online check-in through its official website from 30 hours up to 2 hours before departure. For departures from Mumbai, online check-in must be completed at least 4 hours before the scheduled departure time. After completing online check-in, passengers with checked baggage must proceed to the baggage drop-off counter at the airport. The airline also states that not all airports accept electronic boarding passes, and some passengers may need to print their boarding pass or collect a paper copy at the airport.

Self-Service Kiosks

Air Mauritius states that airport kiosk assistance is available at selected locations. Its published passenger information notes that staff at airport kiosks can assist with the check-in process where kiosk facilities are available. This gives passengers an additional airport check-in channel alongside online check-in and staffed desks. Availability depends on the departure airport.

Airport Counter Check-in

Air Mauritius provides airport counter check-in with airline agents, including dedicated desks for Business Class passengers and Kestrelflyer Gold and Silver members. The airline states that groups of more than nine passengers traveling together to the same destination must present themselves together at the check-in counter for individual processing and seat assignment coordination. Airport counter service also remains necessary where electronic boarding passes are not accepted.

Special Assistance

Air Mauritius supports passengers through its airport and customer support channels, and airport counter check-in remains an important processing point for travelers who need document review, service coordination, or check-in assistance. The airline’s official support structure directs passengers to its help and contact services for travel-related assistance requests and operational support.
