Passengers flying with Air Niugini are required to complete check-in procedures
before departure to receive their boarding pass and proceed through security and
boarding formalities.
Online Check-in
Air Niugini provides online check-in for
selected domestic and international flights through its
official website. Online check-in opens 48 hours before scheduled departure
and closes 3 hours before departure. Passengers can download or print their
boarding pass after completing the process.
Airport Counter
Check-in
Airport check-in counters are available at all Air
Niugini departure airports. For international flights, passengers are advised to
arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before departure. Check-in counters close
60 minutes before scheduled departure for international services and 30 minutes
before departure for most domestic flights. Valid travel documents, including
passports and visas where required, must be presented during check-in.
Self-Service Kiosks
Self-service check-in kiosks are not
currently available for Air Niugini flights.
Special Assistance
Passengers requiring special assistance, including wheelchair services,
medical support, or assistance for reduced mobility, must notify Air Niugini
before travel. Assistance is coordinated at the airport to support boarding,
arrival, and transit requirements.
