» Lost and Found
Passengers travelling with Air Tahiti Nui who lose personal belongings can
request assistance through the airline or the relevant airport authority. Lost
property may be reported for items left on board Air Tahiti Nui flights, within
airport terminals, or during baggage handling.
Reporting Lost Items
Passengers should report lost items
as soon as possible by contacting Air Tahiti Nui or the airport where the item
was misplaced. Reports should include passenger details, flight number, travel
date, and a detailed description of the missing item.
Onboard
Items
Items left on board Air Tahiti Nui aircraft are collected
by the airline or its ground handling partners after arrival. Passengers should
provide their seat number and flight details when submitting a lost property
enquiry to assist with identification and recovery.
Checked
Baggage Issues
Passengers must report delayed, lost, or damaged
checked baggage to the Air Tahiti Nui baggage service desk before leaving the
arrival area. A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) will be issued and is
required for baggage tracing and claims processing. The PIR reference number
should be retained until the case is resolved.
Item Collection
Recovered items may be collected from the airport, baggage service office,
or designated handling agent. Passengers are required to present valid
identification and any relevant reference numbers when claiming recovered
property. Collection arrangements may vary depending on the airport where the
item is located.
