Passengers flying with Avianca can complete check-in via online platforms,
airport self-service kiosks, or staffed check-in counters. These options allow
travelers to obtain their boarding passes and complete all required
pre-departure procedures before proceeding to security screening and boarding.
Online / Mobile Check-in
Avianca offers online check-in through its website and digital channels. Online
check-in opens 48 hours before departure for domestic and international flights,
and 24 hours before departure for flights to or from the United States, Puerto
Rico, and Canada. Passengers can access their booking with the reservation code
and surname and obtain a boarding pass before arriving at the airport.
Self-Service Kiosks
Avianca confirms that passengers can also check in at airport kiosks. These
kiosks support travelers who want to complete check-in at the airport without
using a staffed counter. Passengers with checked baggage or document review
requirements must continue to the designated baggage drop or service desk after
kiosk processing.

Airport counters remain available for passengers who need direct assistance,
international document verification, baggage acceptance, or support with booking
and fare matters. Avianca sets airport reporting times according to route type,
and passengers must arrive early enough to complete formalities before the
airline’s check-in deadline.

travel coordination can use Avianca’s staffed airport services and customer
support channels. Cases involving special assistance, document control, or
irregular travel conditions are completed through direct airline assistance at
the airport.
