» Lost and Found
Belavia offers assistance to passengers who have lost or misplaced personal
belongings during their journey. Items may be left on board the aircraft, within
airport terminals, or at airline service counters. Passengers can report lost
items through the airline’s customer service channels or by contacting the
airport’s lost property office.
Items Left on Board the Aircraft
Items found on board Belavia aircraft after arrival are handled through the
airline’s lost property process. Belavia directs passengers seeking property
left on the aircraft after a flight from Minsk National Airport to contact the
airline’s lost and found channel.
Items Lost at the Airport
Property lost inside the terminal building, at security screening, in public
waiting areas, or at boarding gates is handled by the airport authority or the
airport’s own lost property service. Passengers need to contact the relevant
airport directly when the item was not left inside the aircraft cabin.
Baggage-Related Lost Property
Checked baggage that does not arrive with the passenger is treated as a baggage
irregularity. Belavia’s published carriage rules state that baggage is
considered lost if it is not found within 21 days from the date it should have
been delivered. Delayed, missing, or mishandled baggage cases require formal
reporting through the baggage service process.
Reporting a Lost Item
Belavia provides a dedicated lost property contact for onboard items, including
the email address lostfound@belavia.by
and a telephone contact published in its passenger FAQ. For baggage issues,
passengers must report the matter through the airport baggage service office and
keep all reference documents issued during the report process.
Recovery and Collection
Recovered property is released according to the airline’s identification and
claim procedures. Passengers may be asked to provide flight details, a
description of the item, a baggage reference number where applicable, and proof
of identity before collection or delivery arrangements are confirmed.
Passenger Advice
Passengers should report missing personal items and baggage issues immediately
after discovery. Boarding passes, baggage tags, passport details, and written
references issued by the airline or airport should be retained until the case is
closed.
