Passengers travelling with Caribbean Airlines who misplace personal belongings can request assistance to recover their items. Lost property may be reported for items left on board the aircraft or within airport facilities, and prompt reporting is required for tracking and retrieval.

Reporting Lost Items

Passengers must report lost items to Caribbean Airlines or the airport’s lost and found office at the arrival airport. Reports should include flight number, travel date, contact details, and a clear description of the item. For items related to baggage, passengers may also use the airline’s online baggage tracing system where available.

Onboard Items

Items left on board are collected by Caribbean Airlines or its contracted ground handling agents after each flight. Passengers should provide details such as seat number and cabin location to assist in identification. Recovery and return are coordinated through the airline’s ground services team at the arrival station.

Checked Baggage Issues

Passengers must report delayed, missing, or damaged checked baggage at the Caribbean Airlines baggage service desk before leaving the airport. A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) is issued with a reference number for tracking. This reference is required for status updates and any compensation claims in accordance with applicable regulations.

Item Collection

Recovered items are returned through the airport baggage services office or designated handling agent. Passengers must present valid identification and the relevant reference number, including the PIR if applicable. Unclaimed items are held for a limited period in accordance with airport or local authority regulations, after which they may be transferred or disposed of as required.
