Misplacing a personal item or checked baggage while traveling can be stressful. China Airlines offers a Lost and Found service that allows passengers to report and track lost belongings, whether they were left onboard, at the airport, or misplaced during another part of the journey.

Items Left on Board the Aircraft

Items discovered in the aircraft cabin are collected after each flight and forwarded to the airline’s handling office. These items are logged and stored for identification and retrieval.

Items Lost at the Airport

Items lost within airport terminals are managed by airport authorities. Passengers must contact the airport’s lost property office for assistance with recovery.

Baggage-Related Lost Property

Lost or delayed baggage is reported at airline service counters. A report reference is issued to allow passengers to track the progress of recovery efforts.

Reporting a Lost Item

Passengers may submit reports through official service channels, including online platforms and airport service desks. Detailed descriptions assist in identifying recovered items.

Recovery and Collection

Recovered items are returned following ownership verification. Collection arrangements are coordinated between the airline and the passenger.

Passenger Advice

Passengers are encouraged to keep valuables secure, label their luggage clearly, and verify all belongings before leaving the aircraft.
