Croatia Airlines manages lost property through coordinated processes involving airline staff and airport authorities.

Items Left on Board the Aircraft

Items found onboard aircraft are collected after each flight by cleaning crews and transferred to the airline’s ground services office. Each item is recorded and stored at the arrival airport.

Items Lost at the Airport

Items misplaced within airport facilities, including check-in areas and boarding gates, are handled by the airport’s lost property department. Passengers must contact the relevant airport authority to report such losses.

Baggage-Related Lost Property

Passengers whose checked baggage is missing must report the issue at the airport baggage services desk before leaving the terminal. A formal report is created to track the baggage through the airline’s tracing system.

Reporting a Lost Item

Lost items can be reported through Croatia Airlines offices, airport counters, or designated customer service channels. Accurate information, including flight details and item description, is required.

Recovery and Collection

Recovered items are stored securely and released only after verification of ownership. Passengers must present identification and supporting details.

Passenger Advice

Passengers are advised to keep baggage tags, confirm all belongings before leaving the aircraft, and avoid placing valuables in checked luggage.
