Drukair has established procedures for handling items that passengers may misplace during their journey, covering onboard, airport, and baggage-related cases.

Items Left on Board the Aircraft

Items discovered in the aircraft cabin after arrival are collected by cabin crew or cleaning staff. These items are handed over to the airline’s ground handling team and logged at the arrival station for tracking and storage.

Items Lost at the Airport

Personal belongings misplaced within airport terminals, including departure halls, boarding gates, and security areas, fall under the responsibility of the respective airport authority. Passengers must contact the airport’s lost property office directly for assistance.

Baggage-Related Lost Property

Checked baggage that does not arrive at the destination must be reported immediately at the baggage services counter. A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) is created to initiate tracing through the airline’s baggage tracking system.

Reporting a Lost Item

Passengers can report lost items through Drukair’s customer service offices or airport counters. Required details include flight number, travel date, seat number if applicable, and a clear description of the item.

Recovery and Collection

Recovered items are stored for a defined holding period. Collection requires valid identification and proof of ownership. Delivery arrangements may be available depending on location.

Passenger Advice

Passengers are advised to check seat pockets, overhead compartments, and personal areas before disembarking and to retain baggage tags and travel documents for reference.
