EgyptAir provides dedicated procedures for managing lost property across its network. Passengers who lose personal belongings or experience baggage delivery issues while traveling with EgyptAir can report the incident through airline or airport Lost and Found services.

Items Left on Board the Aircraft

Items found onboard are collected by cabin crew or cleaning staff and transferred to the airline’s ground services unit at the arrival airport.

Items Lost at the Airport

Items lost within terminal areas are handled by airport authorities. Passengers must contact the airport’s lost property office for assistance.

Baggage-Related Lost Property

Passengers must report missing checked baggage immediately at the airport baggage services counter. A Property Irregularity Report is created, and tracing procedures begin.

Reporting a Lost Item

Passengers can report lost items through EgyptAir offices, customer service channels, or airport counters. Detailed information must be provided.

Recovery and Collection

Recovered items are stored securely and released upon verification of ownership. Identification and supporting documents are required.

Passenger Advice

Passengers are advised to label baggage, retain claim tags, and confirm personal belongings before leaving the aircraft or terminal.
