El Al Israel Airlines is the flag carrier of Israel, headquartered in Tel Aviv and operating from its main hub at Ben Gurion Airport (TLV). Founded in 1948, the airline operates scheduled passenger and cargo services connecting Israel with destinations across Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East. The carrier maintains an extensive international network, including nonstop long-haul services to cities such as New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Bangkok, and Dubai.

The airline offers multiple travel classes across its fleet, including Economy Class, Premium Class, Business Class, and First Class on selected long-haul aircraft. Inflight services include onboard dining, Wi-Fi connectivity on selected aircraft, entertainment systems, and the Matmid frequent flyer programme. El Al also operates codeshare partnerships with international airlines to expand connectivity beyond its direct route network.

Passenger operations are supported by an all-Boeing fleet consisting of Boeing 737 aircraft for short- and medium-haul routes, alongside Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft for long-haul services. As of 2026, the airline continues expanding and modernising its fleet with additional Boeing 787 aircraft on order to support future network growth and increased passenger demand.

In addition to passenger services, El Al operates cargo transportation through dedicated freight operations and belly cargo capacity across its international network. The airline also maintains enhanced aviation security procedures across all stages of travel operations.
