Finnair handles reports of misplaced belongings for items left during travel.
Items may be left in the cabin, airport facilities, or service areas. Reports
can be submitted through airline support channels or airport authorities.
Items Left on Board the Aircraft
Passengers must file a report with flight information, travel date, seating
position, and item details through the airline’s official channels.
Items Lost at the Airport
Lost articles within airport premises are managed by the airport’s property
office, including items left at gates, lounges, or screening areas.
Baggage-Related Lost Property
Unlocated checked baggage must be reported at the arrivals service desk. A
Property Irregularity Report (PIR)
file is generated to track the item.
