Passengers travelling with FlyArystan who misplace personal belongings or experience baggage irregularities should report the matter as soon as possible upon arrival. Different procedures apply to items left on board and checked baggage that is delayed, lost, or damaged.

Reporting Lost Items

Passengers who believe personal belongings have been left on board an aircraft or within airport facilities should contact the relevant airport Lost and Found office or FlyArystan’s ground handling representative at the arrival airport. Reports should include flight details, travel date, passenger contact information, and a description of the missing item.

Onboard Items

Items found on board FlyArystan aircraft are transferred to the airport’s lost property service or the airline’s handling agent. Passengers should provide details such as the flight number, travel date, seat number, and a description of the item when submitting an enquiry.

Checked Baggage Issues

Passengers whose checked baggage is delayed, lost, damaged, or arrives with missing contents must report the issue before leaving the airport arrival area. A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) is issued to document the baggage irregularity and serves as the reference for baggage tracing and claims.

FlyArystan requires a PIR to be completed at the destination airport. If no report is filed upon arrival, the airline may not accept responsibility for the baggage issue.

Under FlyArystan’s conditions of carriage, baggage is considered lost if it is not located within 21 days after the scheduled date of arrival.

Item Collection

When delayed baggage is located, arrangements are made for its return to the passenger. Passengers collecting recovered baggage or personal belongings may be required to present identification and the relevant PIR reference number or other supporting documentation.

Passengers are advised to retain all baggage tags, boarding passes, and PIR documentation until the matter has been fully resolved.
