Passengers travelling with flydubai who lose personal belongings can request
assistance to recover their items. Lost property may occur onboard the aircraft
or within airport facilities, and passengers must report missing items to the
appropriate authority for handling.
Reporting Lost Items
Passengers must report lost items
based on where the item was misplaced. Items lost onboard flydubai aircraft must
be reported to flydubai’s customer service or through its official website.
Items lost within airport terminals must be reported directly to the relevant
airport’s lost and found office. Passengers must provide flight details, travel
date, and a clear description of the item.
Onboard Items
Items left on board are collected by flydubai or its appointed ground
handling agents after the flight. Passengers must submit a lost item report with
details including seat number, flight number, and description of the item.
Recovery is subject to item identification and handling procedures.
Checked Baggage Issues
Passengers must report delayed,
lost, or damaged checked baggage at the flydubai baggage services counter
immediately upon arrival at the airport. A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) is
issued with a reference number for tracking. This reference number is required
for baggage tracing and any subsequent claims.
Item Collection
Recovered items are returned through the handling airport or designated
facility. Passengers must present valid identification and supporting
references, including the PIR where applicable. Collection arrangements are
coordinated with flydubai or the relevant ground handling agent. Unclaimed items
are managed in accordance with airport and local authority regulations.
