Myanmar Airways International provides assistance for passengers who have lost
or misplaced personal belongings during travel. Items may be left on board
aircraft or within airport facilities. Reports can be made through the airline
or the relevant airport authority.
Items Left on Board the Aircraft
Passengers must report
items left on board by contacting Myanmar Airways International and providing
flight details, seat number, and a description of the item. The airline will
assist in locating the item.
Items Lost at the Airport
Items lost within airport terminals, including departure gates, lounges,
security screening areas, and baggage claim, are handled by the respective
airport’s lost property office. Passengers must contact the airport authority
directly.
Baggage-Related Lost Property
Passengers must report missing or delayed checked baggage at the Myanmar Airways
International baggage service counter immediately upon arrival. A Property
Irregularity Report (PIR) is issued to initiate the tracing process.
Reporting a Lost Item
Passengers must provide the
following information:
• Passenger name and contact information
• Flight number and travel date
• Departure and arrival airports
• Description of the item
• Seat number,
if applicable
Recovery and Collection
Passengers
are notified when items are located. Valid identification is required for
collection or delivery.
Passenger Advice
Passengers must ensure all personal
belongings are collected before leaving the aircraft and remain responsible for
their belongings throughout the journey.
