Passengers who lose personal items while traveling with Nepal Airlines must
report the loss at the arrival airport without delay. Items may be misplaced on
board the aircraft or within airport facilities.
Items Left on Board the Aircraft
Items left inside Nepal Airlines aircraft are collected by cabin crew and ground
staff after arrival. These items are recorded and transferred to the airline’s
designated handling office.
Items Lost at the Airport
Personal belongings misplaced within terminals, including at
Tribhuvan
International Airport, are managed by airport authorities. Passengers must
contact the airport Lost and Found department directly.
Baggage-Related Lost Property
Passengers who do not receive checked baggage must report the matter at the
arrival hall. A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) is created to enable tracking through the airline’s baggage
tracing system.
Reporting a Lost Item
Reports must include flight number, travel date, and item description.
Supporting documents such as baggage claim tags are required for baggage-related
cases.
Recovery and Collection
Located items are held at the respective office for collection. Passengers must
provide identification and reference numbers issued during reporting.
Passenger Advice
Passengers should label baggage clearly and retain all travel documents. Prompt
reporting enables tracking actions to begin without delay.
