» Lost and Found
Passengers travelling with Nile Air who lose personal belongings can request
assistance in locating and recovering their items. Lost property may include
items left onboard the aircraft, within airport terminals, or related to checked
baggage services.
Reporting Lost Items
Passengers must report lost items
to Nile Air or the airport’s ground handling office as soon as possible after
arrival. Reports should include passenger details, flight number, travel date,
baggage tag information if applicable, and a detailed description of the missing
item.
Onboard Items
Items left onboard Nile Air
aircraft are handled by the airline’s cabin crew and ground handling teams after
each flight. Passengers reporting onboard lost property should provide their
seat number and flight details to assist with item identification and recovery.
Checked Baggage Issues
Passengers must report
delayed, damaged, or missing checked baggage immediately upon arrival at the
airport baggage service counter before leaving the arrivals area. A Property
Irregularity Report (PIR) will be issued for baggage tracing and claim
processing. The PIR reference number is required for all follow-up enquiries
regarding baggage status.
Item Collection
Recovered items are returned through the airport lost and found office or the
designated ground handling agent. Passengers collecting recovered property must
present valid identification and supporting reference documents, including the
PIR reference number for baggage-related cases. Unclaimed items are retained
according to airport and airline handling procedures.
