Passengers travelling with PNG Air are required to complete check-in procedures
before departure in order to receive their boarding pass and proceed through
security and boarding.
Online Check-in
PNG Air provides online check-in
services for eligible flights through its
Manage
Booking platform. Passengers can complete online check-in before departure,
select seats, and download or print their boarding passes.
Passengers
travelling with checked baggage must present their baggage at the airport
check-in counter at least 1 hour before check-in closes. Passengers travelling
without checked baggage must arrive at the boarding gate no later than 30
minutes before departure.
Airport Counter Check-in
Airport check-in counters are available at all PNG Air departure airports.
Check-in counters open 2 hours before scheduled departure.
For domestic
flights, check-in closes 30 minutes before departure. For international flights,
check-in closes 60 minutes before departure. Passengers arriving after check-in
closure are not accepted for travel.
Passengers must present valid
identification and required travel documents during check-in.
Self-Service Kiosks
PNG Air does not operate self-service
check-in kiosks at its airports.
Boarding
Boarding begins 20 minutes before departure. Passengers must remain within the
terminal after check-in and proceed to the boarding gate when boarding
announcements are made. Failure to board on time may result in removal from the
flight and forfeiture of the ticket depending on fare conditions.
