Passengers travelling with SCAT Airlines who lose personal belongings during their journey can report missing items through the airline or the airport's lost property services. Lost items may include belongings left on board the aircraft, within terminal facilities, or checked baggage that has not arrived as expected.

Reporting Lost Items

Passengers should report lost items as soon as possible after arrival. Reports should include flight details, travel date, contact information, and a detailed description of the missing item to assist with identification and recovery.

Onboard Items

Items left on board SCAT Airlines aircraft are collected by cleaning crews and ground handling agents after the flight. Passengers should contact SCAT Airlines or the arrival airport's lost and found office and provide their flight number, seat number, and a description of the item.

Checked Baggage Issues

Passengers whose checked baggage is delayed, lost, or damaged must report the issue to the airline’s baggage service desk before leaving the arrival airport. A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) will be issued and must be retained for baggage tracing and claim purposes. The PIR reference number is required for all follow-up enquiries.

Item Collection

Recovered items can be collected from the designated airport lost and found office or baggage service provider. Passengers must present valid identification and any relevant reference numbers when collecting recovered property. Collection arrangements may vary depending on the airport and handling agent.
