» Lost and Found
Passengers who misplace items or encounter baggage-related concerns while
traveling with Southwest Airlines can file a report through the airline or the
airport Lost and Found services.
Reporting Lost Items
Passengers must submit reports for lost property through Southwest Airlines’
Lost and Found channels or notify airport personnel at the arrival location.
Reports must include the flight number, date of travel, and a clear description
of the item to support identification and tracking procedures.
Onboard Items
Items left on board Southwest Airlines aircraft are collected during post-flight
inspections conducted by cabin crew and cleaning teams. Providing the boarding
position, flight details, and item characteristics supports the search and
identification process.
Checked Baggage Issues
Passengers must report delayed, missing, or damaged baggage at the airline’s
baggage service office immediately upon arrival. A report is created with a
reference number for tracking and claims. Passengers must retain this reference
until the case is resolved.
Item Collection
Recovered items are returned at designated airport facilities or through
delivery arrangements coordinated by Southwest Airlines. Passengers must present
valid identification and any issued reference number to complete the collection
process.
