Passengers travelling with Uzbekistan Airways who lose personal belongings or
experience baggage issues can receive assistance through the airline and airport
Lost and Found services. Reports should be submitted as soon as possible after
arrival to support the tracing process.
Reporting Lost Items
Passengers who have lost personal
items on board a flight should contact the Lost and Found office at the arrival
airport or the local Uzbekistan Airways representative. Reports should include
the flight number, travel date, seat number, and a detailed description of the
missing item.
Onboard Items
Items found on
Uzbekistan Airways aircraft are transferred to the Lost and Found service at the
arrival airport. Passengers must provide identification and flight details when
making an enquiry. At
Tashkent
International Airport, recovered items are held by the airport’s Lost and
Found office for collection.
Checked Baggage Issues
Passengers whose checked baggage is delayed, missing, or damaged must report
the issue to the Lost and Found or baggage tracing office before leaving the
arrival airport. A baggage tracing file and Property Irregularity Report (PIR)
will be created to facilitate tracking. Baggage tracing is conducted for up to
21 days. If the baggage is not located within this period, it is considered lost
and passengers may submit a compensation claim.
Item Collection
Recovered personal items and baggage can be collected from the relevant
airport Lost and Found office or handling agent. Passengers must present valid
identification and any applicable reference number issued during the tracing
process. Collection arrangements are coordinated directly with the airport or
airline office responsible for the item.
