Passengers flying with Volaris are required to complete check‑in procedures
before departure to obtain their boarding pass and proceed to security screening
and boarding.
Online Check‑in
Volaris offers online check‑in through
its
official website and mobile app. Online check‑in opens up to 72 hours before
scheduled departure and closes 1 hour before departure. Passengers can select
seats, add optional services, and download or save their boarding passes.
Boarding passes obtained online or via the app are accepted at airport security
and boarding gates.
Volaris also supports check‑in through its WhatsApp
chatbot for certain flights within Mexico.
Airport Counter
Check‑in
Airport check-in counters are available at all departure airports served by Volaris. Counters open 3 hours before scheduled departure. For domestic flights, check-in closes 45 minutes before departure. For international flights, check-in closes 60 minutes before departure. Passengers must present valid travel documents to receive their boarding passes if not checked in online.
Self‑Service
Kiosks
Self‑service check‑in kiosks are available at selected
airports. Passengers can use kiosks to check in, select seats, and print
boarding passes and baggage tags where available.
Special
Assistance
Passengers requiring special assistance, including
those with reduced mobility, medical conditions, or specific service needs, must
notify Volaris in advance. Assistance arrangements are provided at the airport
based on prior notification.
