» Lost and Found
Passengers flying with Wizz Air who lose personal items can receive support in
the recovery process. Belongings may be left on the aircraft or within airport
areas, and immediate reporting is necessary to assist with identification and
retrieval.
Items Left on Board the Aircraft
Items left on Wizz Air flights are collected by cleaning crews and ground
personnel after arrival. These items are transferred to the airport’s lost
property office for registration and storage.
Items Lost at the Airport
Lost items within airport premises are handled exclusively by airport
authorities. Passengers must contact the airport’s lost and found office for
assistance with such items.
Baggage-Related Lost Property
Passengers must report baggage issues at the airport before departure from the
terminal. A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) is generated to initiate tracking
and resolution procedures.
Reporting a Lost Item
Lost item reports can be submitted through Wizz Air’s customer support platform.
Passengers must provide detailed descriptions, travel information, and contact
details for identification purposes.
Recovery and Collection
Recovered items are stored at the airport or designated facilities. Passengers
are informed when items are found and can arrange collection or delivery,
subject to local policies and fees.
Passenger Advice
Passengers are encouraged to keep personal belongings secure, label luggage
clearly, and confirm all items are accounted for before leaving the aircraft or
airport area.
