Chicago O'Hare International Airport

Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) is the primary international gateway to Chicago and one of the busiest airports in the United States. Located approximately 27 km northwest of downtown Chicago, it serves as a major hub for domestic and international flights, connecting the city to destinations across North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. ORD is also a key hub for air cargo and logistics operations.

Chicago O'Hare International Airport has four passenger terminals: Terminal 1 (United Airlines and Star Alliance carriers), Terminal 2 (domestic and international carriers), Terminal 3 (American Airlines and Oneworld carriers), and Terminal 5 (international arrivals and departures).

Facilities include check-in counters, self-service kiosks, automated baggage drop, immigration and customs services, baggage claim areas, lounges, retail outlets, and extensive duty-free shops. Dining options range from cafés and fast-food outlets to sit-down restaurants offering both local and international cuisine.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout all terminals. Additional services include ATMs, currency exchange counters, medical services, business centers, and support for passengers with reduced mobility.

Airlines operating at ORD include United Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Lufthansa, British Airways, Emirates, Qatar Airways. Transportation

O'Hare Airport is connected to downtown Chicago via the CTA Blue Line train, which provides a direct link to the city in approximately 45 minutes. Taxis, ride-hailing services, and airport shuttles are available outside the terminals.

Numerous public and private bus services operate routes to nearby suburbs and hotels. Car rental agencies operate on-site, and short-term and long-term parking facilities are available for travelers.
