Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) is the primary international gateway serving Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, and the surrounding northern region. Located in Sóc Sơn District about 28 km north of Hanoi’s city center, it is Vietnam’s second busiest airport and a key hub connecting northern Vietnam with major destinations across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

The airport operates two passenger terminals, with Terminal 1 handling domestic flights and Terminal 2 serving international routes. The airport operates 24 hours a day and is equipped to handle wide-body aircraft.

Travelers can reach Hanoi city center by taxi, ride-hailing services such as Grab, airport shuttle buses, and public bus routes. Private transfers, hotel shuttles, and car rental services are also widely available, with future metro connections planned to further improve accessibility.
