No visa is required to transit through Armenia. However, travelers must possess a passport valid for 6 months beyond their stay and a round-trip or onward ticket.

Transit visas for Armenia can be applied for, either for single entry or multiple entries, with a validity of 1 year. The stay in Armenia is permitted for no more than 3 days initially, with the possibility to extend for a maximum of 4 additional days.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia handles the issuance and extension of Official and Diplomatic visas, as well as e-visas. Visitor and Transit visas are issued and extended by the Passport and Visa Department of the Armenian Police.

Armenian visas are typically issued for a maximum of 120 days, with the possibility of extension for another 60 days, unless otherwise specified by international agreements of the Republic of Armenia.
