Transit Visa » Bahamas
Travelers transiting through the Bahamas do not require a visa. However, they
must possess a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond their stay and a
round-trip or onward ticket.
Transit visas for the Bahamas are necessary for all except those continuing
their journey to a third country within 3 days, provided they hold valid
documents and tickets for their onward destination. This exemption does not
apply to nationals of certain countries, including Albania, Belarus, Burkina
Faso, China (except holders of Hong Kong passports), Cuba, the Dominican
Republic, Ghana, India, Kazakhstan, North Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia,
Montenegro, Nigeria, Pakistan, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine,
Uzbekistan, and Vietnam, provided they hold documents for the next country and
do not leave the airport.
Cruise ship passengers traveling to and returning from the Bahamas are required
to obtain a visa for entry. Both entry and departure must be by a cruise ship.
