Iran Transit Visa

AirlinesOffice.com  »  Transit Visa  »  Iran

Travelers can transit through Iran without needing a visa, provided they stay within the international transit area, with the exception of citizens of Israel.

However, a Transit Visa is necessary for foreign nationals intending to pass through Iran to reach a third country if they plan to exit the airport's international transit area.

While most foreign visitors require a visa to enter Iran, citizens of Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovenia, and Turkey are exempt. They can stay for up to 3 months without needing a visa.
