Poland Transit Visa

AirlinesOffice.com  »  Transit Visa  »  Poland

No visa is required for transit through Poland if travelers remain within the international transit area. However, if you're traveling by air from a third state to another third state with a layover at an airport in the Schengen area within Poland's territory and you hold citizenship from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sudan, or Sri Lanka, you must apply for an A-type airport transit visa.

This visa only permits you to remain within the international transit area of the airport; it doesn't grant entry into the Schengen territory or allow leaving the airport's transit area.

If you're planning transit through an airport in a Schengen state other than Poland, it's recommended to directly contact the consulate of that country for visa information.
